Tremend is looking for an Automotive Solutions Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. Your Impact:

• Develop, integrate, and review software components across all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, bug fixing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external software teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions
• Build and present demos to stakeholders, showcasing automotive solutions
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to an efficient software development process using continuous integration
• Take ownership of tasks from the product backlog, including prototyping new concepts, developing new features, porting features to new platforms, bug fixing, and improving continuous integration processes.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product owners, project managers, program managers, field application engineers, and external partners
• Embrace team core values, such as challenging the status quo, being innovative, and stepping out of the context bubble.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of software architecture, including design patterns, best practices, and optimization techniques
• Experience with a mix of technologies, including low-level drivers, middleware, various operating systems (RTOS and non-RTOS), and user space tools and libraries
• Proficiency in C programming, with additional skills in C++ and Java preferred.
• Strong scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, Groovy, and Makefiles
• Relevant experience in developing embedded applications for automotive or general embedded systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and performance
• Good written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Technical presentation skills for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
